Are you looking for a way to make a difference in someone’s life? We are seeking committed volunteers to provide invaluable support to our patients and their families. Our hospice patients and families enjoy visiting with family and friends, getting outside, engaging in memorable activities, keeping daily routines, joining family celebrations, and sharing memories.
What is the role of a Hospice Volunteer?
Our volunteers are carefully screened and extensively trained. Hospice volunteers offer the following support to hospice patients and families:
- One-on-one companionship
- Reading to patients
- Sharing life stories
- Respite for family
- Errands
- Massage
- Music
- Pet therapy
- Veteran-to-veteran companionship
- Provide intermittent respite to families/caregivers
- Read and actively listen to patients.
- Run errands, grocery shopping, laundry, light housekeeping, prepare meals, walk pets, etc.
- Offer outings and companionship for patients
- Assist with writing memoirs and capturing your life story
- Socialize with patients in nursing homes and assisted living facilities

How to become a Hospice Volunteer
We are seeking compassionate individuals looking for a way to share their time and talents. We have a special need for military veterans, musicians, and massage therapists. You will make a difference in the lives of our hospice patients, their families and caregivers.
